One presenter at WordCamp Savannah 2010 said she previously prepared a large monthly newsletter with much content for her business. Her readership was not as much as she desired. So she changed her format. She now sends a monthly newsletter which is much shorter with applications her readers can use. She said her list significantly increased with this new method. Recently, I read where Mashable is now producing a “daily” newsletter with a circulation of 70,000 plus.
Perhaps you could adopt this practice in your business: a more frequent, practical based newsletter with limited content for quick reading and use.
On Sunday, August 22, 2010 after a noon lunch the WordCamp Savannah unconference began. It was different from the Saturday sessions. It was a presentation of topics based on the interest as defined by the group. This made the sessions extremely helpful to particular needs. Many questions were answered during these afternoon sessions. I will give you more updates on key concepts and news in future blog post.
Savannah WordCamp was a great success. SCAD and Savannah,
Georgia were the perfect venue for a WordCamp. People attend from many different states. Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder, of WordPress, and founder of WordPress.com and VaultPress.com attended. He spoke at two sessions to a very attentive crowd. I will be sharing some key concepts from the WordCamp in the next few blogs.

I just added a page to this website. It was a very easy process. This is one of the great things about WordPress. It allows you to easily make a new page on your website. You do not have to wait for your webdesigner to get back to you. You can easily make the change yourself.
